ATLANTA — A sampling of the city’s hottest chefs, restaurants and vendors will converge at the famed Buckhead Theatre this September during the annual Taste of Buckhead.

Sponsored by the Buckhead Business Association (BBA), the event runs from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.

General admission tickets are $50 and VIP tickets are $75. As part of the event, attendees can taste dishes from some of Atlanta’s premier restaurants and sample more than 50 wines and beers.

“The Taste of Buckhead is one of the foremost opportunities to experience the best that Atlanta has to offer,” said Smita Solanki, executive director of the BBA. “Atlanta has arrived as a food destination, and this event is the perfect place for locals and visitors alike to meet and greet some of the city’s best chefs.”

Brian Lee, executive chef at the JW Marriott Buckhead Atlanta, is the event’s first confirmed featured chef. Additional featured chefs will be announced leading up to the event in September.

For $25 more than general admission, attendees can purchase a limited number of VIP tickets.  With the special tickets, event-goers can begin the evening an hour before other attendees at 5:30 p.m., where they can enjoy chef demonstrations before the general event begins and sip special cocktails; they will also receive a gift bag chock-full of surprises.

Gas South is the presenting sponsor of this year’s Taste of Buckhead, while Keurig is a platinum sponsor. Other sponsors include Bank of North Georgia and Georgia Primary Bank as gold sponsors and Metcalf Davis and Private Bank of Buckhead as silver sponsors.
